Mother's Day 2014

Almost two years ago, Emeline's birth mother placed her baby in my arms and changed my world in ways I could never have envisioned. She gave me this gift of motherhood; this amazing, incredible life changing gift. She lost, so that I could love this precious child. And I love her like crazy. Mother's Day to me is about celebrating the selfless act of love that Emeline's birth mother chose for her. Emeline is only mine because of her. I have this day to celebrate and this joyous season of life, because of her. To say I'm forever thankful will never be enough.
